Conditions We Treat

Before we outline a list of conditions that are treated in our clinic, with Chinese medicine and/or Functional medicine,  let me first say that I have never in my over 25 years of practice declared that we treat any type of disorder. While I do use some of the tools of allopathic medicine such as lab work, and often associate a symptom with a given disease, it has always been my conviction that as Chinese and functional medicine practitioners our focus is on the terrain or overall presentation of the patient at the time of the first consultation.

Individual symptoms do matter and need to be addressed. Our aim, however, is to address the underlying cause or disharmony between organ systems. So with that in mind, I will list below a number of conditions that in my clinical experience are resolved or greatly improved when the we treat the patient and not a disease.
